Longos (Loggos). Longos is surrounded by olive and pine trees, five kilometres north of Gaios on the island of Paxos (Paxi). It is a picturesque fishing cap with the traditional architecture of the houses that have Greek and Italian elements in them. You see houses with coloured doors and windows, You can stroll through the narrow alleyways. Amongst he beautifully wooded slopes around you can see old windmills.
At the harbour are many traditional restaurants. Here you can hire a boat to visit the beaches in the area. Left of the harbour is an old sea factory, proof that Longos has known prosperity in the last century.
In Longos are the historic churches of Zoodochou Pigis and Aghios Nikolaos.
Beaches in Longos include Fikia, Levrechio, Glyfada and Kipos. In Longos live about fifty permanent residents.
