Finiki. Finiki is located in the southwest of the Greek island of Karpathos, two kilometers (just over 1 mi) north of Arkasa and 18 kilometers (11 mi) from the island’s capital, Pigadia.
Year ‘round about 80 people inhabit this pretty fishing village with its natural harbor. They mostly earn their living from local fishing and tourism. During summer, the town fills up with Greek and foreign tourists.
Finiki has a small, lovely sandy beach, and there are some shops, bars and restaurants. The restaurants offer delicious, fresh fish.
In the direction of the harbor you can see the beautiful white Aghios Nikolaos church with a blue dome, located on a hill. Finiki is very popular among Greeks, especially because of the fish taverns located here.
